“4/26/2009: I stumbled upon this site while I was searching for a professional retoucher to retouch my [old] graduation photos. The photographer DID NOT know how to take good pictures and I actually wanted to print these. The lighting was totally off. He offered retouching services but they were charging $50 per photo, and judging from the way he took pictures I did not think he would do a good job fixing a photo. I decided to just order my graduation photos digitally and find a better deal on my own. I wasn’t going to pay $150 to get 3 photos retouched.

I found Motive. Only $25 per photo and all online. It was the most affordable of anything I found and they had a money back guarantee which I didn’t find with the other retouching companies. The site was really easy to maneuver and fun to look through because they had before and after roll-over examples.

I created an account online, submitted my photos, noted what I wanted done, and paid. In 2 days, I got an email that my photo was ready so I logged into my account and saw a watermarked preview of my retouched photos for approval. They did an awesome job fixing any weird shadows (caused by bad photography), stray hairs, blemishes without making me look like some airbrushed freak (it has been done before). They were fast and affordable. Photographers rip you off if they offer  retouching services, so I’m going to do this from now on.
